Theta Lake Cookie Policy

Theta Lake, Inc. (“Theta Lake”, “we,” or “us”) uses cookies on the Theta Lake website (the “Site”) to operate and administer the Site, conduct analytics, and improve the Site and your experience on it.

This Cookie Policy provides information about how and when we use cookies for these purposes and the choices that you have. It forms part of our Privacy Policy, which also includes details about (i) why and how we collect, use, and store Personal Information that we collect or receive through our website or services, (ii) the lawful bases on which Personal Information is processed, (iii) how we protect your data, and (iv) what your rights and our obligations are in relation to such use. Please read our Privacy Policy for information on these items. Capitalized terms used in this Cookie Policy, but not defined herein, have the meanings set forth in our Privacy Policy.

By choosing to use the Site after having been notified of our use of cookies in the ways described in this Cookie Policy, and, in applicable jurisdictions, through notice and unambiguous acknowledgment of your consent, you agree to such use.

What are Cookies?

A cookie is a text file which is stored on your computer or other device when you visit the Site.

The Site uses two types of cookies: session and persistent cookies. Session cookies are stored temporarily on your device while you browse our websites and are deleted from your device when you finish browsing.  Persistent cookies remain on your device after you have finished browsing our websites so that we can remember your preferences when you visit in the future.

Some cookies are set by us (first party cookies); some cookies are set by another party’s website (third-party cookies).

For more information about cookies, including how to set your internet browser to restrict, block or delete cookies, please go to http://www.allaboutcookies.org/.

What Cookies Do We Use?

The types of cookies used on this Site can be classified into the following categories: essential and analytics cookies. Theta Lake also uses website pixels.

Essential Cookies are used to provide our Site and deliver some of its features, including security features. These cookies are essential for using the Site and without these cookies basic functionalities would not work.  Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the Site and the services, you cannot refuse them.

Analytics Cookies are used to compile aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how you and other users use the Site (including number of page views, number of visitors, and time spent on each page). This helps us improve the functionality and performance of the Site, for example, by making sure you can easily find what you need.

We use the following analytics cookies:

  • Google Analytics cookies are used to evaluate your use of the Site and compile reports on Site activity. You can learn more about Google Analytics’ privacy practices by reviewing Google’s Privacy Policy.  You can prevent your data from being collected by Google Analytics on our Site by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for your web browser.  Expiration times for Google Analytics cookies vary based on type.
  • LinkedIn cookies are used to support LinkedIn advertising and sharing buttons and security functionality. Advertising-related cookies expire after 1 day, security cookies expire after 1 year.
  • HubSpot cookies are used for identification purposes as part of the form submission process. This cookie is passed to HubSpot on form submission and used when deduplicating contacts. These cookies expire after 13 months.
  • Tech Target website pixels (also called Inbound Converter ICB) are used to provide insights into what pages a Site visitor has been researching, the web pages they have landed on, and when as well as how often they are viewing specific pages on the Site.
  • Terminus website pixels allow us to track Site engagement, including page views, form fills, video plays, and specific page interactions.

Your Choices
