Mid-Market Account Executive

About the Role

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Theta Lake, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base within the mid-market segment. This is a hunting role focused on generating new business and driving revenue growth through proactive engagement and strategic selling. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas by securing new client accounts, effectively demonstrating how our solutions align with their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and target potential clients in the mid-market segment.
  • Engage with prospects through cold calling, networking, and social selling to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand the prospective client’s business challenges and demonstrate the unique value of Theta Lake’s solutions.
  • Negotiate and close deals that meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategies that enhance the sales process and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to strategically position Theta Lake in the market.
  • Become proficient in Theta Lake’s products, staying informed of new features and updates to effectively communicate the benefits to prospects.
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue to meet and exceed sales objectives.

We’re excited if you have:

  • 3+ years of professional sales experience, preferably in a role focused on new business development.
  • Experience with technology solutions for unified communications (e.g., Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams) and compliance technologies (e.g., call recording, archiving).
  • A track record of successfully selling to mid-market clients, particularly in regulated industries such as financial services.
  • A dynamic, supportive spirit and the desire to wear multiple hats within a growing company.

Compensation

  • $75,000/year to $110,000/year + competitive commission structure + equity + comprehensive benefits
