Mid-Market Account Manager

The Position

As a Mid-Market Account Manager, you will play a critical sales role in nurturing and expanding our existing relationships within the mid-market customer portfolio. This position focuses on driving revenue growth through account management and customer success, ensuring that our clients fully leverage our solutions to achieve their business objectives. You will be responsible for meeting a sales quota by identifying upsell opportunities, closing deals, managing renewals, and acting as a trusted advisor to your customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mid-market clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Implement and follow a proven playbook to drive customer success, focusing on expanding our footprint within existing accounts.
  • Actively identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, leveraging customer feedback to enhance their experience and maximize value from our solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to deliver exceptional service and support.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs and demonstrate the value of our solutions.
  • Expand relationships within accounts across different personas and groups, requiring proactive prospecting.
  • Become an expert in Theta Lake’s products and roadmap to effectively position solutions that solve customer needs and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to effectively position Theta Lake’s offerings.

Compensation

$75,000/year to $110,000/year + commission + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, location and market conditions. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include commission, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. We’re most excited if you also have some of these skills (or are ready to learn):

  • 3+ years of professional account management experience, particularly in a farming role focused on nurturing existing accounts
  • Experience with technology solutions for unified communications (e.g., Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams) and compliance-related technologies (e.g., call recording, archiving, risk management)
  • A background working with mid-market clients in regulated industries, such as financial services
  • A desire to thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment where adaptability and wearing multiple hats is essential
