Human Resources Lead

Theta Lake is an award winning, and market recognized leader in solutions that enhance security, safety, and compliance for modern workplace tools like Zoom, Webex, Teams, Slack, RingCentral, etc.  The Theta Lake Human Resources Lead will be the go-to person for solidifying our highly employee-centric culture powered by mutual accountability and a drive for team success.  This role will handle employee-related issues while being a strong business partner to the leadership team, advising them on all people topics, and helping them be better leaders in their areas. These duties will involve managing activities such as job design, compensation planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, talent management, and all forms of employee communication!


What You’ll Do:

People Operations & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop, scale, and document HR programs, processes and systems related to workforce planning, performance management, career development, employee relations, benefits, and compliance
  • Set up and leverage people systems and processes to enable great people management practices, employee relations, and drive competitive compensation and benefit strategy
  • Serve as a talent acquisition business partner to internal stakeholders as well as recruiting resources across eventual in-house recruiters, contract recruiters, recruiting services, and employee referral programs
  • Management and oversight of the entire Recruitment Cycle including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, salary negotiation, offer management, and candidate management
  • Collaborate with the executive team to foster an environment that values diversity and inclusion and promotes learning and career growth
  • Champion the full cycle of onboarding, leave and PTO programs, and exit of employees.
  • Create, develop, and maintain employee learning, development, wellbeing, and communication infrastructure
  • Be a steward of company culture while ensuring legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and review policies and practices to maintain compliance


Who you are:

  • You have extensive experience in Human Resources (5+ years) and working cross-functionally with all areas of HR and are SHRM certified
  • You are a self-starter with a creative mind and track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing the results
  • You have a human-first mindset with natural interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence change while acting with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
