Santa Barbara, CA – Santa Barbara SKY FC today introduced Theta Lake, a pioneer in Digital Communications Governance and Archiving, as an Official Club Partner. This multi-year partnership unites two Santa Barbara-based innovators as SKY FC prepares for its USL Championship debut in 2026.
Theta Lake has redefined how companies ensure secure digital communications. Like SKY FC’s entrance into professional soccer, Theta Lake is breaking through legacy barriers and expanding its impact. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation, competition, and community.
“Theta Lake is an award-winning industry leader that not only shares roots with us here in Santa Barbara but also our vision of community support,” said SKY FC Founding Owner, Peter Moore. “Together, we’re building something special for Santa Barbara’s Central Coast.”
“At Theta Lake, we thrive on competition, innovation, and pushing boundaries—just like SKY FC,” said Devin Redmond, CEO of Theta Lake. “SKY FC’s arrival in the USL Championship is a breakthrough for Santa Barbara sports. It’s especially meaningful for us, a company that was founded and built in Santa Barbara to partner with another group of passionate builders. As Theta Lake continues to break through in Digital Communications Governance, this partnership reflects our bold longer term ambitions, our passion for teamwork, and our commitment to the community that helped shape us.”
As SKY FC’s inaugural season approaches in March 2026, this partnership underscores both organizations’ ambition to drive impact locally and beyond. Theta Lake and SKY FC will work together to help address food insecurity facing residents and families throughout Santa Barbara by hosting community focused events to raise awareness and drive food donations to support those in need. The first community event will be held later this year followed by three more in 2026. In addition, Theta Lake will be a part of SKY FC’s game day experience during its inaugural 2026 season, including branding across in-stadium elements, a match entitlement and game broadcasts.
