Zoom has launched a compliance product that combines archiving, eDiscovery, legal hold and information protection capabilities.

Compliance Manager is built on Theta Lake’s compliance solution, which has been integrated with Zoom for some time.

Zoom said the new offering will help organisations meet regulatory thresholds and mitigate compliance risk.

Ritu Mukherjee, Head of Product Business Acceleration and Readiness at Zoom said: “Zoom currently provides compliance and information protection for enterprise customers within regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, and the public sector through integrations with key communications compliance providers.

“With Zoom Compliance Manager, we are making it easy for our customers to have an end-to-end experience — seamless buying, easy setup, centralised management, and simplified support — with a comprehensive solution that addresses their communications compliance needs across the Zoom platform.”

Zoom said that Theta Lake’s compliance tools are now available on Zoom’s administrator console with “Zoom-specific enhancements, providing a frictionless experience”.

Key features of Zoom Compliance Manager include archiving and content capture, which enables users to maximise their Zoom usage and meet regulatory and long-term record retention requirements. This feature automatically captures meeting data, AI summaries, phone recordings, team chat, whiteboard content, and more.

Additionally, the eDiscovery feature allows users to discover insights across the Zoom platform through a user-friendly interface. It facilitates easy access to communication archives and offers the ability to analyse, evaluate, and effortlessly export content.

The Legal Hold feature, meanwhile, enables users to capture and hold communications of specific individuals. Users can manage cases through custom workflows, case management, and data export requests when legally mandated.
