Leading cloud communications provider, Fuze, recently announced a selection of valuable integrations to support enterprise compliance. The integrations are available through a partnership with Theta Lake, a provider of leading privacy and security solutions, and 17a-4 LLC DataParser, a third-party data middleware solution designed to automate communication data management.

Designed to assist companies with the protection of sensitive data, the new integrations will support teams moving into a new remote and hybrid environment. Fuze has also updated its Microsoft Teams and Slack integrations to ensure higher security standards for teams in those applications.

Making Collaboration More Secure

As the workforce becomes increasingly diverse and distributed, companies are at greater risk of issues with compliance, privacy, and security. As a partner to some of the biggest global enterprises, Fuze supports integrations with leading compliance vendors to support enterprises during digital transformation.

According to Senior Security Advisor Rear Admiral Dan MacDonnell at Fuze, the permanent, but rapid, expansion of remote work has forced companies to scale compliance strategies at speed. Companies need a solution that works across all communication channels, while still supporting significantly increased usage. The Fuze integrations with leading solutions will enable hybrid organisations to maintain data security. New integrations include:

  • Theta Lake: Chat messages and call recordings can be accessed within the Fuze platform and pulled into a SOC 2 Type II compliant system for further retention. The Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning capabilities of Theta Lake automate the detection of data leaks, company-specific risks, and compliance issues within chat messages and call recordings. Proactive alerting and an AI-enhanced workflow allow for efficient management of possible risks. Further features include accurate transcripts, playback controls, legal-hold, PII redaction and extensive search and discovery.
  • DataParser: This integration provides middleware to collect Fuze messages and shared information into a compliance archive for eDiscovery, supervision, and retention. Chats are also arranged into conversations for easier auditing and review.
  • Fuze for Microsoft Teams: The customers using Fuze for Teams click-to-meet and click-to-call will now find that all interactions are compatible with Microsoft eDiscovery and auditing tools, with minimal effort required from customers.
  • Fuze for Slack: Click-to-call and click-to-meet functionality for Slack with Fuze will conform to the Slack Enterprise Grid architecture and is available to deploy across an enterprise grid environment, helping IT administrators to streamline their compliance and data management strategies.

Compliance for the New Workforce

According to VP of Business Operations and Development, Anthony Cresci at Theta Lake, the company is excited to be working with Fuze to assist modern companies with risk management. As employees and business leaders rely on Fuze to maintain their productivity, Theta Lake’s integrated security and compliance suite will empower safer, more compliant communications, combined with better organisational insights.
